Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Are you a current or former smoker?

Do you have trouble breathing or a persistent cough?

If so, you may have a disease called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or C-O-P-D. Research is being done in your area on an investigational medication for COPD. We’re looking for people who are at least 40 years old and currently have no significant heart conditions. If you qualify, you may receive medication and study-related medical care at no cost while participating in the study. Reimbursement will be provided for certain study related travel.

If you take part in a COPD study, you will:
  • Receive study related exams
  • Receive study related medication and/or supplies at no cost
Compensation for time and travel may be provided, health insurance not required. You may be eligible to participate in a COPD research study if you:
  • Are 40 years of age or older
  • Current or former smoker
  • Have trouble breathing
