Idiopathic Hypersomnia Study

Idiopathic Hypersomnia is a sleep disorders where an individual sleeps for extended periods of time during the day and experiences excessive sleepiness.

Local physicians are looking for participants who:


  • Have been diagnosed with Idiopathic Hypersomnia
  • Do not have other medical conditions or take medications that can cause EDS
  • Sleep an average of 7 or more hours a night

Compensation for time and travel may be provided, health insurance not required. You may be eligible to participate in a study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with Idiopathic Hypersomnia
  • Currently receiving medication/treatment for Idiopathic Hypersomnia
